PUBLIC SPEAKING / BUSINESS PRESENTATIONS
I have been a Voice Consultant, a term my late wife coined, since the early eighties. We used the term in our marketing to the business community to differentiate our services from speech therapy for communicative disorders, which most professionals clearly do not have, and theater, the concept of which makes business people uneasy.
We teach the technology of “making the voice match the message”. For any presenter this feature is most important if that person is to be perceived as being credible. We also deal with the issue of “vocal image” and getting the best potential out of one’s vocal instrument. Additionally, we teach speakers how to meet the audience’s needs as well as adding vitality and interest.
In overly simplified terms, we offer the vocal equivalent of Dress for Success or Color Me Beautiful. Those two concepts codified the clothing and color usage of people who used those tools successfully in their careers. Likewise, these past years, we have taught business and professional people how to develop a coherent vocal message in their presentations. We have paid especial interest to the subtext or what the voice says: we have helped our clients to project their interest, intention and authenticity. -Click Picture for More Information About Public Speaking Voice Services-
